Fish oil is oil derived from the tissues of oily fish. Fish oils contain the omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, precursors of certain eicosanoids that are known to reduce inflammation in the body and improve hypertriglyceridemia.

Fish oil contains anticoagulant naturally, which prevents the body from blood clotting; this means if the blood is not being clotted, then it must flow out of the body, which is it can easily cause bleeding.

It can also cause allergy; people with allergy of fish and shellfish can cause it very severe.
